This piece was created during November of my grade 10 art class. Right when given this assignment, I knew I wanted this piece to revolve around nature. Growing up, I have always felt comfortable and in tune with nature that surrounds me. Even in the most plain things, like trees, dirt, and grass. I showed this by using deep-toned colours and I utilized realism in my mask by using some common textures you can find in nature.
