This piece was inspired by Wonder, by R.J. Palacio, in which the quote “Be kinder than is necessary.” has left a special place in my heart since I read it. I decided to create a piece to show that message to the world, to show what it means to me. I made the blend of marker, pencil and different colours show that though we are all unique, different and our own selves, we are all equal human beings. Unique, yet so different.
